Virgil Abloh and Nike's "The Ten" collaboration was one of
the biggest sneaker events in history.
"It’s larger than design culture," said Abloh at the time. "These 10 shoes have broken barriers in performance and style. To me, they are on the same level as the sculpture of David or the Mona [Lisa].” River was part of the epic launch from designing and building the raffle page and platform, to educating retailers in Paris and London.

The 10 classic Nike silhouettes were only available in limited quantities at a few exclusive retailers. Raffle platforms were built for five retailers in Paris and London, where consumers signed up to get a chance to buy the shoes.
Halfway through the project, with four more shoes still to be released, the platform received more than 300 000 submissions.
