River helped Nike and BP create the handbook on how to make a football club more equal, a product of many years of pioneering work by BP and the FairPay Foundation.
2024 was the year Allsvenskan turned 100, and every club was tasked with designing a retro jersey. For theirs, BP chose to revisit 2019—the year BP and Bromma Girls put sports gender equality on top of the agenda. The handbook was launched together with the retro jersey and celebrated with a big event at Grimsta featuring artists, football players, influencers and media.
When the Bromma Girls u15 team went to Portland in the summer of 2024 to meet teams like Inter and Chelsea in a friendly tournament, the handbook and jersey were gifted to the other participating teams.
