We are looking for a conceptually strong creative to join the River team.

At River, we work with amazing clients like Nike, Red Bull and Riksidrottsförbundet, out of our office on Kungsgatan 26 in Stockholm.

This is the job

As a creative at River you will work with generating ideas and creative concepts. You’ll then oversee these ideas - from fragile embryos to fully fledged campaigns and beyond - getting your hands dirty in every part of the process.

In your role you’ll need to play a number of roles, from idea salesman to management consultant to artist, entertainer and shaman, making sure that your creativity convinces, inspires or scares clients into doing exactly what makes business sense for them and their brands.

The position requires knowledge and interest in cultural and societal issues, profiles and trends, as well as proficiency in the creative techniques, tools, and software related to copywriting.

Almost everything you create at River should have an earned media core, and we need to keep in mind that our communication competes for headspace with not just other ads, but also the consumer’s favorite TV show, hobbies and even family. Classic advertising will not be enough.

  • You have 4+ years of experience working creatively with globally recognized brands.

  • Your greatest strength is coming up with outstanding creative ideas and concepts, no matter if it’s for a global 360 campaign, a TV commercial, a PR activation, a new product or a social post.

  • You have a strong craft in copywriting that you use to bring your ideas to life. You are always trying to improve and perfect this craft, searching for new influences and apprehending trends.

  • As a first-class communicator you deliver great copy across a wide range of styles and formats. While your native language is Swedish, you have excellent command of the English language and grammar.

  • You love presenting your ideas in an inspiring, understandable and convincing manner both verbally (in English as well as Swedish) and through stunning, well-structured presentations.

  • You have a strategic mindset and good understanding of how to create work that align with a company’s brand values, goals and business. You are used to addressing strategic briefs with on-point creative ideas, with or without the help of a planner.

  • You are comfortable with the whole creative campaign process and preferably have experience briefing and working with external creative partners like photographers, directors etc.

  • You focus on opportunities and solutions rather than problems and obstacles.

  • You are a blast to be around and want to contribute actively to the agency culture.
